it's dead!? how come?

^ don't know. didn't have an autopsy done yet. bought it on a flea market and only managed to take one picture (which was not transported out of the camera completely) before it would stop working. doesn't seem to be a battery problem, as new film did not help. any suggestions for possible attempts at revitalization?
