Thank you. Red lights are the ideal place to think up a five-sentence story.

Mehtinks you're on to something. And I'm beginning to understand a little better why I find your writing so entertaining.

Did I mention that I wish the red light in your photo was a traffic light and not the brake lights of a car in front of you? Uh huh.

^
The traffic lights were too far ahead of me, unfortunately. I was in the queue. But brake lights are nice things, too.

I did succumb, but my superstitious challenge involved the potential actions of another person as a condition of a successful challenge and that person came through immediately (with a promptness that shocked me, actually,) so I didn't even have a real chance to play out that conflict between common sense and childish "if you really exist god, you'll send me a sign right away" naîveté.

The density of coincidences yesterday appeared extraordinary (I count your photo description matching this episode of mine amongst those.) Aw.

They do say I'm a witch. I always thought they were referring to my green skin and cackling maniacal laugh, but perhaps they all sense... something else.

I know the type of random impulse you describe in your description. As a matter of fact I had one just like it earlier today Jinx.

And did you succomb? Did common sense trump superstitious idiocy or vice versa? And which would you have preferred to win?
