Continuing on the coversation a bit - the 680 also has more advanced processors, making for nicer pix/resolution. I have a dozen SX-60s, but I pack the 680 more often than not!

Very nice! Looks like the slr 680 is a pretty good camera! Do you like it better than the sx-70?

^ It's a great camera. The SX-70 is more compact when folded and SX-70 film packs a lot of charm but the 680 has the advantage of auto-focus (manually overideable if you need/want to) inbuilt flash and it takes 600 film which is 1. faster & 2. more widely available (even though I would love to see more SX-70 film out there, the reality is it's getting harder to get, but thank heavens for www.unsaleable.com!) :-)>
