True, I got reminded to early portraiture in photography as well. Beautiful photo.

Thanks a lot, I had a similar feeling back then...
I was just wandering what this image would look like now (I don't really know where it is), anyway I'm very glad it is still here on polanoid, as chocolate wasn't particularly stable...
Thanks again, and I take the occasion to tell you (again ?) that I appreciate very much your work !

Nicely done. It's reminiscent of early wet plate portraits of children who, then as now, had trouble remaining still enough for a multi-second exposure. The dark chocolate tones are perfect.

Thanks a lot, I truly appreciate your comment. And I agree (this little game with time is among the things I like with pinhole), but here it was more a matter of minutes than seconds. Without a maid to firmly hold the child's head as back in the old days, this picture is a miracle !
In fact it really is (nothing religious involved...), as I enjoyed a simultaneous lack of motion from the little model and a sudden awakening of the sun, which decided me to expose a little(!) longer.
Anyway pinhole portrait does include some part of luck, doesn't it ?

Thanks !
The magic of chocolate met the magic of pinhole, I just happened to be around...

Thank you very much for that kind comment !
Not too sure to follow you though... I have an idea but modesty doesn't allow me to write it down...
If it's what I think, thank you very very much !
