^ Thank you. I tried taking a picture of these a couple of weeks ago and it didn't work out so well. This time the back lighting really helps offset the translucence of the seed pods.

in french it's called "The Pope's money".. i ike the latin name better too ;) beautiful capture

^ I'd seen these growing around our house in the summer and then noticed the beautiful and delicate seeds pods that remained on the stems in winter. I'll try to gather more of them this fall for photographic purposes. Thanks for the info (Pope's Money) and the kind comment!
