Funny, I was almost certain that this was part of your amaryllis series just from the anonymous thumbnail, while the picture is almost abstract when looked at its 'regular' size.
Apparently size does matter...

^ I have a few more shots remaining of this amaryllis. It's looking pretty pathetic at the moment. Taking pictures of flowers is tough because it has been so overdone, yet it is hard not to. I'm not trying to break new ground, just document the life cycle of this particular flower. Some friends brought it to us in late November and it has done well for the past six weeks. With photographs size does matter. Sometimes larger is better, sometimes not. I was surprised to see an Edward Weston exhibit years ago and discover that all of this prints were 8x10 contact prints, no larger. But it worked. Thanks.

^ Thanks. The fluorescent lighting screwed with the colors a bit, but it worked out pretty well overall.
