bleach the negataive? or the picture?

^ I bleeched the neg, but didn't clean it very well from the "picture" side.

^ You have to wash the backside with bleach to remove the black coat and then wash the front side gently with wipes to remove the greenish paste. What you have then is a regular transparent negative. Be patient not to mix the bleach with the front side in any way as the image will disappear
