I have never tried taking film out of a pack, reinserting it etc. Do you have any transplant tips? I have an expired pack of SX-70 that I want to try out, but the battery is dead.

^ Thanks for the words! Two things about transplanting: don't press on the developer pod at all and have patience. I use a darkbag. It make the process much more comfortable.
