I know I am a bit late but... I love the way the snow on the tree makes it look like the light source is coming from the left then you notice the shadow from the trees and see that the sun is on the right. It makes it look a negative on a positive. Brilliant! Well deserving of sotd (even if the day was a long time ago.)
