yes, him. he had a huge retrospective a good while ago, and it took place all over a city. lot of work which is normally spread in museums and private collections all over the world. it was well worth the trip.

That sounds even better being all over. I saw an installation of his in San Francisco a number of years ago - quite impressive it was too!

It is like underwater isn't it? Ha. One of the very first shots with that bad boy. I bought the 600 SE along with the franken-lens (the Voigtlander has been mounted on the original lens mount) off of eBay, which is probably why I got a really good price on it - nobody else wanted it. I've bought the actual lenses for the 600 since, but it's the Voigtlander that I love, in all it's cruddy, non-focusing, can't use the rangefinder, soft-focus glory.

Do you mean Bill Viola, the videographer?
