I suppose It all began with a bad case of writer's block. When I look at this I feel that If I dropped that gun, I could use my free hand to write. But the gun stays. For obvious reasons. Stalemate.

devil and death are my favourite puppets.
they're so common in all the styles and traditions and it's so beautiful to see how they were made, to see differences from centuries, countries and so on...

I'm not sure when this one is from. I bought a bagful of these puppets from a fleamarket. I think they are probably from the 1960s or 70s. Made from finest moulded plastic.
