fantastic----
i would like to see more of this modern interpretation of polas
on this site like yours.
at the moment i am fed up by all the pseudo romantic sotd
even i have a romantic side by myself.
polaroid is different and not a remake of kitsch daguerrotypes
of an ideal world.
maybe i have an autumn deppression
hugh i have spoken--

^
i'm not very good at the romantic stuff....thank you for the compliment. I like polaroids, and take them when it feels appropriate- things that look good on polaroid and not on other things. that is what i do- i don't do much girly whimsical stuff myself as it doesn't suit me!

great collage!!
^
thanks KneeBee- bloody shame I didn't have three more shots though! - the one thing I am pleased about it that i did the rotation in camera, so the expired stripes all line up- the little things always made me happy!

LOVE THIS! i haven't had the pleasure of using expired sx70 film before :( i'm jealous
^
Thank you very much sister sister! Expired sx-70, I'll tell you what- I liked it better when it wasn't all expired! I love it but its unpredictable and each pack requires a new learning process where you try to find out how expired it is, where the 'splodges are' and what is achievable. It's odd- you save a pack of film for one purpose and then realise that actually, what you intended it for was never going to work. Luckily for me, this particular subject didn't rely on perfect film...! I have the way expired sx-70 leaks goo out of the back of each shot amd makes a horrid mess...

however- as you can see from my gallery, my opinion is that the disadvantages make for fun shooting!
