it was a dark room and i put a lightbox with greaseproof paper above- it was a homemade lightbox so very bright white and it was shot with a weird close-up lense that makes the centre light and the edges dark...all the shots i did on this film with that lens came out like it! glad you like it!

Both are really really great but how did you get this contast and colors ?
^
with difficulty. this one was a a portable light box above her head and i put a blue filter over the film cartridge. There was lots of light and she was in an otherwise dark room- the whole film came out like this, really dark. There's a soft blur too as i was doing it with a tripod as it was indoor and the tripod started to fall over!

I almost forgot to mention...I don't know whether I like best your pics or your writing...if you are not making a living out of taking photos or as a writer....YOU SHOULD!
^
grin- i dont do either really but i dabble at times...thank you for your really sweet words. i do inadvertently make a living out of photos but they are other people's photos not my own...its not quite the same!

Absolutely adore these two. Thanks for sharing the stories and images.

thank you kindly, i am happy you like them...the man is a bit blurred but this one came out well i think . it sums up how she was then, characterful but slightly blank somehow...personalit y is all in the eyes and yet her eyes in this are blank, reflecting ....
