Haven't commented on anyone's photos in a loooong time but I have to start somewhere again and this one is really beautiful. I kind of hate people who shoot 108 though, it's the only film that I can't get my hands on!!

Jurmala. Jurmala. Will we go there, sometime? If not on this trip, perhaps in a month or two? I want to see what the open sea looks like from the "other" side and walk along the shoreline. Please, please, please!

that sky's colour is pretty amazing, i'm sure you know that. but just know that i know it too... x
^
ok :-)

(to tell you a secret: the sky WAS amazing. but the beach not purple at all. amazing. amazing film for amazing moments, makes me so happy if it works out. btw, the glossy of these colour-polaroids adds quite a bit. but i'm sure you know that too... x)

this could be anywhere at anytime.
it makes me think of early man foraging on the seashores of east africa. i know that's terribly unromantic, but i just can't shake that vision.

pardon.

thinking about eating is one of the sexiest things i can imagine, so my pardon?
(fits my soup tip as well)

(and both have a timeless implication anyway, no?)

Two people walking on the shore. Two people standing further along. Marvelous.

g. this is wonderful. And such a remarkable connection with Ivan's work! Your picture on the left, and this on the right »link

These two pictures you uploaded make so much sense. When I think of polanoid, I put you, macs, and Ivan together in my head.

^
true. they really fit perfect together. glad you draw the line, as it's really my all time favourite of ivan. and strange, looks like a hommage, but in fact i took it before i knew it. time is a wierd thing. and how similar thoughts and impressions arise at different places in minds of 'brothers of another mother'.

(yes, i felt the urge to manifest some sense in the mess i am in, so i know there's a good reason to be for now)

i just put them together for me. actually, it has more strength the other way round. wierd. but wonderful.
