Ah, I see you attended the Saucepan School of Set Design. Prestigious institution.

I am really glad you shared this behind-the-scenes tidbit with me. Your cantina is most excellent. I admire it doubly now. The saucepan lid is especially gritty and convincing. Actually it’s very beautiful, and I’m not even a lid fetishist or anything.

Connotations & connections. Pink columns of light. Aha, yes, connections were absolutely meant to be made. And, in the best of all possible worlds, graphically illustrated using small toy figurines as well.

Oh! Yes, they go together *so* well. Now that I look at the two previous thumbnails it seems so obvious that they make for a superb diptych.

Bravura performances by all involved. Well done, actors & photographer. & *what* a title. Bang, a classic in any galaxy.

The pic on the left, the one with the clashing weaponry, is very phallic.

i know... after i had uploaded them separately i saw them sitting there in the thumbnails so perfectly i had to join them for real. and i didn't want to remove the others, cos i still like them on their own terms. just not so much....

they do look quite manly and penisful don't they? i think that all super heroes give off an air of homosexual strength. in the jedi's case it is wielded through their sabres, and whoever thought of a character, dressed like a gimp, brandishing a pink column of light, must have understood and wanted those connotations and connections made...?

no one has asked how i made the *cantina*... it took literally minutes of thought to come up with, but i love the result. it is simply a breeze block (found on the road) joined with a saucepan lid (found at home).

thanks... i thought so... i have only 2 shots of this film to go. i'm trying to fight the urge to use them on star wars but i'm not sure i'm going to win. it's been good to me so far! and it's only a tiny bit fradulent!
