I am an enthusiast, not an expert - there is a difference! But I love France and visit a few times a year. I know Limousin a little, I love Marseille and I love Paris. France is so photogenic

i was joking. Nobody knows about this place ;-)

Humble apologies but my knowledge of French language is very rudimentary and I don't understand: what does "il s'englue" mean?

What line is this station on? Where would that train have been travelling from and to?

"Sybic" stands for Synchrone Bicourante - the class 26000 locos are dual voltage and are known as Sybics. You are obviously not a railway enthusiast! Of course it doesn't matter where you take the photo from and this is unquestionably a nice shot, but my personal preference is for the light to be behind for side views or three-quarter views of locos and trains, so that the detail shows up clearly

oh oh.. a specialist... and you do not know Saincaize station !?!?
ah ah ah.... it's a big station in center France, close to Nevers. Big, but strangely lost in the countryside and almost deserted...

Pity that the light was in thw wrong place though - the picture would best have been taken from the other platform so that it showed the side of the loco that was illuminated by the sun

mmm...I prefer it that way.. but thanks for the attention !
