That's an interesting old building. It looks like the smaller wing near the chimney once housed a steam engine (similar to the cotton mills in the north of England). Do you knbow what the mill was for originally and is the water in the foreground a canal or a pond?

as far as i know it is part of the baker chocolate factory in dorchester/milton, ma. baker was the first chocolate factory in the US.

there is another picture of mine that shows another of the mill buildings that have been turned into condominiums. the still water is the neponset river that the mill was built along for hydro power. it flows into boston harbor.
