from afar i swore i saw a woman with major tan lines standing against a wall...
just composed to show 1/3 of her.
was very shocked to see such an abstract.

it's funny what the brain wants to see sometimes. this is actually a picture of a sparkly gold purse, with the flash reflecting off it. the tonal stripes are due to the age of the film. the spots and cracks are due to baking the film in the toaster!

it looks so illustrative, which is neat. how expired is ridiculously expired? 5 years? 10? now i want to find some old ones lying around.

i would recommend ebay. it's so easy to get really expired film for very little money. i have film with expiration dates ranging from '98 to '01, i think. the oldness results in the vertical striping of tones, divided into thirds. the emulsion dries out and you get uneven spreading in corners. the cracks and spots come from mildly toasting the cassette to futher mess with the emulsion.
