yeh the point and shoots are limiting... i found the ability to not turn it off annoying, which is why i adore my sx-70. I think the colours would also lend itself quite nicely to a type 100 film as well.

definately hit me up on my guestbook when you've taken some more shots ok :)

Cool, I will - it might be next month (but hopefully it will be worth the wait!)

Cheers!

what camera did you use? i just noticed the flash reflection on the bottom pic, so i'm assuming its maybe a point and shoot?

definately sounds like a great series :)

It was a 600, with expired 600 film. I couvered the flash with a bit of paper, but unfortunately it still came through, through maybe not so much as if I left it uncovered. The flash drives me crazy - it always spoils things! Today I took a picture of a woman sitting in a doorway with a basket of prawns, she's selling them. The colours are really nice. But, damn it, level with her head, on a strip of the painted red doorway, there is a little point of reflected flash! Because I know it's there I can't help looking at it.

I'm saving up for an slr686. Next payday, I think I'm going to get one from unsaleable. How exciting! After this i think I'll do the Lewisham door project properley.

or, that should be, - an slr680 (not 686!)

I like the middle one best - with that dirty window. Great geometrical combination.

Thank you very much! I'm planning to do a series of 9 or 12 maybe, when I get hold of some more film (and maybe a better camera!)
