Wow, sort of guessed that the focus would be all auto these days, shows you how much I know about such things,what medium are you filming with,16mm,35mm or some form of digital tape/hard drive? Cheers Paul

^ this is video HD. On Tv, it's almost impossible to see the difference with 16mm. And it's great to shoot at night, almost no extra light needed. A little harder with contrats (inside/outside balance is quite tricky) For the rest, hell no : it's not autofocus at all, luckyly. The focussing is so meaningfull.... there can be an laser-helped focusing but it's never used as an automastism
