I belive you have to put a ND-1 in front of the cell.

Insted of puting the filter in the lens, put in front of the sensor, this way you fool the meter, and you donīt degrade the image.
You can find some tips for it around on internet.

Won't that make the photo even more over-exposed? The sensor will think there is less light than there is, and hold the shutter open even longer? The problem with the 600 film is that it's too fast. Thanks, btw, for the link you sent. I recognize your photos as some I've admired. I'm sorry I won't be able to do manipulations (unless I find some old film). I have played around with image and emulsion transfers, though, and hope to do more.
