Yes it is sort of wuthering heights, (without the moors) I can just imaging Kate Bush prancing around this scene. I don't know what you do to new boys....buy them a nice present?
^

I always find bleak beautiful and this is very beautiful

Thanks. You're so right about bleakness. It can just twist you about inside. The Wuthering Heights sort of thing.

So, a new boy, huh? You know what we do to new boys around here?

It looks rather cold and lonely.
^
Rubbish. Why, I came back with the most incredible suntan.

Ok, so I'm lying through my teeth. Yes, it was a bit chilly. But a lonely beach! What could be nicer?

i love dogs.......love the sea (but better in italy !)...love blue......."love me tender..."
^
You couldn't swim in this, of course. People do, but there is something not quite right about them. So Italy is much better for that. But if you're just looking, then these beaches are very natural, dynamic places. Windy, with great long tides, so that means lots and lots of sand, rock pools, driftwood, shells, funny seaweed, old pieces of glass. Crazy dogs, mad people with beards. No tourists. It's exhilerating, rather than relaxing. I wouldn't lie here in a bikini, (unless I was determined to kill myself) but I like it in a different way.
