2006-12-07 // 22:14:47 Simidi Great to see that somebody did the same work that I did just a few days ago. I've converted a 110a on my own. The focus adjustment wasn't that difficult as you desrcibe it. By the way, I really like this picture... and the one with your living room. Congrats for a good conversion and a good classical photographers eye.
2006-12-04 // 05:56:27 artpunk I am loving your shots with your converted cameras. I admire people that can tinker like that (and more importantly get it right!)
Your interior shots have such a classic feel to them, this one is a great example of that. I love your description too, I'd very much like to see a colour example.

2006-12-04 // 04:28:31 sixblueten I've never been brave enough I sold the last 110A I found at a thrift shop on eBay as it needed a good home. . .tho' now it's one of the rare holes in my Pola collection (50 and growing). I'm something of a sucker these days for the Fuji film, but only because the hyper-saturated colors are different than what I'm used to. . . too glossy, however. Oh, great shot by the way. Just a nice simple moment.
2006-12-04 // 03:55:18 sixblueten Nice description of the colors . ..really pushes the mind to try to envision the scene thusly colorized (colourized for our UK pals). Custom lens board? You sound like quite the Pola-tinkerer.

I'll have to re-take this in color to aid my description. Perhaps with 690 film and the 600se camera. I've always been a tinkerer and have converted four cameras myself after purchasing a converted 110A that didn't perform too well. I had to tweak it myself to get good pictures and figured I'd do all my conversions myself from that point. I'll construct the lens board from spare parts.
