I think what the Blend emulsion did looks good here. Thanks for sharing the Blend-filter comparison...were those two exposures shot simultaneously (i.e. are we not just seeing a brighter sun in the 600 frame to the left?) Also, did you hold the Blend filter over the lens only or did you hold it over the electric eye as well?

^ Both were shot at the same time and the blend filter was installed on the 600 pack the same way it is installed on the blend pack. The 600 would have done better if I'd cranked up the darkness on the camera, but out of three test shots I made, the blend came out looking much better, and having taken a blend shot apart, I've found it to be quite different that 600 internally.

not sure if 779 would look much different with it?

^ I'm going to test out 779 next. I've torn a blend shot apart and it is totally different internally than 600. The blend filter fits on the 600 packs pretty easily, just need to put a piece of tape on the end just like it is on the blend packs.
