It's not so hard to do, Lou. There is a great 'hobo guide' that used to passed around via Kinko's copies. . .has all the cars outlined, the yards with the nice cops/bad cops, et cetera. I'm sure there's a website now. From my limited experience on the rails, I've found there can be some scary mo'fo's and one should never ever ride alone. Same with hitchhiking, which I've a lot of experience with. When I come down to LA, we can grab some film and cameras and take a brief trip - maybe down to the Mexican border area or east to Salt Lake - then hitch back. We'll get great shots. You down?

this is such a beautiful verse, i love hearing about things like this, knowing other people elsewhere share these same moments that i too experience like this... it really makes the portrait come alive, so much to do, and so much to learn... just beautiful x
