Absolutely beautiful. Your shots remind me a lot of those filmmaker Andrei Tarkovsky took with his polaroid camera. »link

i have tarkovsky's book of polas! aren't they amazing? thanks including me in the same sentence with his works. :-)

oh she is so stunning, like you said to lia - girls who wear reveling clothing give all the mystery away. Geisha in japan believed the less they showed the more sexy it became... and then just the show of a wrist or ankle became extremely sexy. I think covering up is much more sexy in a mature way than showing it all :)

I wish I had hair that dark!

^
also, i felt that she had beatific beauty in this one, not sex appeal, beauty like a new mom convalescing or something along that order.

Yes, I think I understand what you mean, thanks for explaining a little. Yes, the images of her are beautiful indeed!
^
thanks again. and i always cover her up a bit because she wears revealing clothing. i think there is a redundancy of girls revealing quite a lot in photography to the point that it has become cliche. there is more mystery in covering up. a reason for the bedclothes in this pic.

Indeed! And luckily!
If my mum tool images like this of my boyfriend. I'd suspect an affair ;-)

:-D what's her name?

^
the photograph is as much about what is not included as what is. in real life, i have a toddler charging into the scene trying to take over and get in the picture. the chaos going on in the midst is never part of the photograph. the calm is a testimony to my sheer determination to take photos. the young lady is extremely photogenic, as is my 8 year old daughter. her name is lindsay, but only da she is known as filledesetoiles. :-) everyone who loves to do portraits needs such a photogenic and compliant model.
