Yeah, many of the bands exist in the context of the school I mentioned. And a lot of Denton bands end up moving to Austin eventually. But even taking into account Denton's size, Austin's still got the higher density of bands by my estimation. There really are thousands of bands here, which is just mind-boggling. And one of the main reasons I live here :-)

Yeah, Denton. You got the music school, but Austin's got the music. I always thought that was curious.

i've only lived here since july, but denton actually does have a lot of bands..not as many as come to austin, but it's also a lot smaller. it seems that people don't play dallas, they come to denton instead. yay!

Somewhere out there, some quadruple-real linguistic scholar has an answer to that burning question of why nouns ending in an o often get a grammatically incorrect apostrophe-s when they are spelled plural on barber shop murals!!!
^
we can only hope to find this genius and take their polaroid portrait!

Yeah, and weaves...I'm guessing the sign/mural painter felt compelled to put apostrophes on the plural of nouns that end in o in the singular! Yeah! I got it!
^
:) :) :) that's you, keeping it triple-real!

Micros sound expensive. I wonder why all the plurals on that sign/mural feature apostrophes. I guess it enhances legibility of some plural nouns, even though it's grammatically wrong :-) Oh, I just noticed that Fades doesn't have one. Mysterious!
^
lol! ijust love the way you try to give deep significance to bad grammar! but you're right--the lack of 's on "fades" has me wondering.... ;)

Yeah, speaking of beauty-elevation: do you know what a micro is?
^
yes, it's when you create tiny braids throughout the hair it's a popular style especially among african-americans in the usa (like at this barber shop) :)

I would be skeptical of a double-real, but a triple-real...yeah, I think a triple real is about as real as it gets!
^
definitely! triple-real really lets your beauty elevate!
