man on the gravel bank
#0609
The picture shows the Kabelsteg, a pedestrian bridge in Munich. The bridge connects the east bank of the Isar with Prater Island.
The bridge's name comes from the electrical cables that carry electricity from the Muffatwerk hydroelectric power station to the other bank.

Tip:
The pictures were taken with a Nikon 3300 and printed with the Polaroid Lab.

The background is a wooden board that I found in a pile of firewood at a friend's house. It was obviously used as a backdrop for a picture and was then discarded at some point.

My black-and-white emulsion lifts are always mirror-inverted because I apply the emulsion to the backing material with the reverse side facing forward. With the new i-Type films, the contours are sharper this way.
