Blustery days in Port Talbot
Dad told me that when the steel works was still the centre of industry in South Wales, you would wash the rain off your clothes and off your car, it fell containing such acid. It would eat paintwork, eat through fabric... now there is a puff of smoke, a flame, a surfboard, a kite surfer and sheets of rain alongside the imported sheets of steel.
