try to do the things you should
i nearly cried during one of my walks today when my eyes caught this horrid sight. the tears would have been pouring if all the drama that was going on wasn't. not sure how old he was, but i wouldn't guess any more than a month. this photo should make us realize that each and every life, and breathing second that we are granted should never be taken for granted. the world can be a terrible and harsh place. try to do the things you should!

[this series was inspired by a girl i used to know]

*another photo that I took from this series was included in A BOOK ABOUT DEATH.

for as long as i can remember, i have had a strong fascination with death and how innocent it is, so unstoppable and inevitable. humans are, for the most part, remembered by someone, documented somewhere, traces left behind in some way, some how. creatures are left to be forgotten, disintegrating into the ground. my goal with this series is to capture the lost lives that i come across in an effort to help them to never be forgotten, documented and remembered, forever. because, little bunny, your life was meaningful to others and to me.

The world is so empty if one thinks only of mountains, rivers, and cities; but to know someone here and there who thinks and feels with us, and though distant, is close to us in spirit, this makes the earth for us an inhabited garden.
-- Goethe

All life is meaningful, even the most diminutive creatures.
