In the park pt. 3
So are there things that you like which are a fairly unmistakable indication of your lack of sophistication? I'll give you an example. I really like Central Park in New York. Probably a lot more than most "real" nature out there. That I would prefer such Ersatz nature over nature itself...sad, really. I suppose it's because I'm a city person. Look at the faint outlines of tall buildings on 59th Street along the horizon in this shot. I love that feeling of a major city all around me while sitting in the grass on a huge lawn.

Tip:
I strongly recommend scanning black and white film in color. Maybe I'm always viewing my photographs in yellow-shifted ambient light, but black and whites scanned with black and white scanner settings invariably don't resemble the tonal range of the photographs I hold in my hands. The usually blue-shifted white point of most displays these days probably does its part to make black and white scanned black and white photographs displeasing to me. But these...now that I'm scanning in color I get the warmth and the softness on the screen that I was missing previously.
