I shot this little series at the Luxembourg photomeeting (there were workshops for us fotostudents). The topic was periphery.
The outside of the body, the clothing and skin is the periphery, their mind closed up in themselve. That was the idea.
Before photographing them, I asked everybody to find themself a niche where they feel save.

Sometimes there are white white "mistakes" on the Polaroid. I reshot them, but at the end I took the "mistaken", because they show the vulnerability of the person in this moment.

All pictures from this series belong together, for me they do not work alone.
