What used to be...
...Kemper Military Academy in Boonville, Missouri, is now a hollow shell of the past. At one time this institution served as a training ground for future leaders. It's history dated back to the 1800's. Now, the parade grounds are silent. The halls of its buildings are empty and the ghosts of past generations of students long for days gone by. As an educator, it's hard to watch the death of an institution. We saw this one die just a couple of years ago. One can only imagine the hub of activity to which these buildings were once a witness. Now the doors are all chained and locked and what was, is no more.
