She must've been high. Laid back, laconic voice, strangely/happily aloof, perpetually amused at nothing in particular.
Oh, and she barely put up a fight when I asked to take her picture.
But hell, if you had to wake up at the crack of dawn and wait tables on an increasingly grey Sunday, you'd be high, too.
