Mare Island is an amazing place. An old naval base, since decommissioned, it's now a bunch of old brick buildings and dry docks that gather dust and broken windows. Quite possibly the best place I've ever found to take pictures. Acres and acres and acres of great buildings and heaps of, well, things and very, very few people about to get in the way.
This is shot inside a large steel pipe. The kind you see in action television shows like Hardcastle and McCormick where Hardcastle would dive into just as the baddie is firing off a clip from his Mac10.
