She was the kindest person I hung out with while in New York. She basically gave up her entire weekend to make sure we had a good time, and there was never even a shadow of annoyance or impatience on her face. She drove us around, let us sleep in her apartment, took us to dinner, helped us with our bags, lent us her map.

Which wouldn't have meant a thing to me if she hadn't been so damned fun to hang out with the entire time.
