Shortly after I took this photo the Black Knight (the car in the foreground with the white cross on its hood) was pinned against a barrier by another car and had to sit out the rest of the heat, even though he'd sustained almost no damage at all. He got to go one more time in the very last heat of the night, the so-called losers heat, in which all the losing cars that were still running got to battle it out for consolation prizes.
