As an Aussie, beach to me is where land meets the sea, but in Hamburg it's a pile of sand on the north bank of the river Elb. After a while y'get used to it, and can enjoy it almost as much as a real beach.

Going to the river today was her idea. Any chance to be out in the sun and near water and she's there. If she didn't have two legs, I'd be sure she was a mermaid.
