i wasn't looking forward to the holidays this year... i'm getting over a 10 year relationship, and the holidays are the hardest part, because i can't help but think of what i'm missing... so a few days before this flight, karolina called me up and asked me if i wanted to fly to san francisco with her and drive back to new york... she was going out there for a modelling job, and she offered to pay the whole bill... i couldn't think of any reason not to go... so just like that, i was on my way west again, hoping for an adventure that would distract me from my own thoughts... chapter 1...
