															Jordy, Brooklyn

Polaroid taking has been a part of my life for a very long time now. It has introduced me to new places, and I have met many strangers along the way that have since become friends. I think that maybe the thing I love about instant photography the most is the community that surrounds it.

My trip to New York was no exception. This image of a very sweet guy called Jordy, was shot on a polawalk with another talented stranger come friend, Rommel Pecson (aka aeroektar). It was Rom who asked this guy to take his photo, so this shot is really part his. A collaboration between strangers, of a stranger in a strange city.

This was shot for the Stranger theme of the 12.12. Project. 12 women, 12 themes, 12 months - 144 pictures at the end. To read more about it visit www.the1212project.c om
