My friend Jeff from Sydney wanted to see King's Park so we stopped en route to dinner in Northbridge so he could scope Perth out from the popular vantage point.

Obviously, many NYE revelers the night before had similar ideas but sadly, a few of them thought they were above cleaning up after themselves, leaving in their wake a nice stash of party popper detritus.
