Grape + Grain = Error, Will Robinson
Never mix the two, right? If you start with red wine, stay with wine. If you start with rye whiskey, stick with grain for the rest of the evening. We typically abide by this age old nugget of wisdom, hard won by generations of our stout drinking antecedents. Yet, last night we strayed, if only slightly. This morning, a very, very late breakfast after a lethal combo of wine, beer, whiskey, beer and Fernet Branca (dear god). Still, the light in our little Heladsburg bakery was just about as tight and right as could be.
Have I mentioned I really dig this girl? She's really top notch and out of sight.
