from late afternoon on into the early evening, my kitchen is bathed in the most delicious honey colored light when the weather is fine. a couple of days ago, the light was perfect, but i didn't have any cut flowers. i saw a new toy that my daughter had purchased lying on the kitchen table and thought, "why not?". for me, photography is mostly about photographing instances of light.
