i recently received a lovely sx70sonar from a generous coworker. the autofocus is broken, so i focus manually.

i find that i take different pictures with the sx70 than i do with the 600 camera. the act of focussing encourages careful framing and not moving the camera as i release the shutter. all of this is exactly opposite from the way i must almost beat the 600 to get anything interesting.

i'm curious to see what you think of this.
