hi folkzzz!

the Japanese photographer Daido Moriyama has an upcoming exhibition at the 8. international foto triennale in esslingen (which is near stuttgart) including approx. 600 polaroid photographs. All of the polaroids were taken in Tokyo. The exhibition is titled "Bye-bye Polaroid" which seems fitting with the slow disappearance of the Polaroid film brand. let´s visit and join there - until sept., the 18th.

Der 10. Oktober 2009 ist kein gewöhnlicher Tag für Instantfotografen. Nach Jahren voller Schreckensmeldungen um unsere geliebten Polaroids ist es nun an der Zeit eine Party zu Ehren dieses perfekt unperfekten Films zu schmeissen. Jede und jeder der am 10. Oktober 2009 nach Stuttgart kommt und mit seiner Polaroid fotografiert kann seine besten Aufnahmen auf diese Webseite hochladen und so Teil der jährlichen Pola-Day Galerie werden.
Am Abend feiern wir in einem Stuttgart Club bis in die Morgenstunden.
