I haven't been around all that much in recent months, what with my expired Polaroid stash becoming smaller and more precious by the day, so making the front page is a treat. Thanks!

The Impossible Project is reorganizing. Good news or bad news?

I wrote to IP and someone in customer service responded saying that they will be making the 8x10 film in small batches going forward and that it should be back in stock in May 2014. I'm not sure if this applies to Color Protection or Silver Shade or both.

Anyone know if IP is still making 8x10 film? It isn't available on the site.

Personally, my participation here has waned mainly for practical reasons: my instant film stash is getting thin. I haven't made the leap to IP products yet since my favorite films are still the 4x5 peel-apart Polaroids. Maybe it's time to dust off the ol' SX-70 and try come Color Protection.

Otherwise, I enjoy it here even if it is not what it was....but what is?

(Oh, and thanks for the SotD today. That still makes me smile.)

Thanks for the votes and the cover. It makes me think I should leave the house with my camera more often!

Thanks for the cover today.

Remember, kids: if you have some old Polaroid 4x5 film whose pods have dried out, don't give up on it. It can be brought back to life!
