Guess where Peaches will be giving several thousand eager pupils a lesson this coming Friday? Guess where Spoon, Circle Jerks, Negative Approach, Prefuse 73, Quintron and Miss Pussycat plus 20 other bands are going to offer different lessons of their own? Oh, I shouldn't brag, it's not nice (»link)

Damn, don't you just hate it when that happens? You've overextended yourself financially for months and accumulated unnecessary credit card debt, then unsaleable waves product under of your nose that would set you back another €450 or US$555 (don't you love that price?) Evil unsaleable. E-V-I-L. *sigh*

Only having one SX-70 is a mistake. Unlike with cars, the trend towards secondary SX-70s is one I support adamantly. You gotta have a back-up SX-70, yo!

I just discovered two vintage Polaroid TV commercials at the end of a bootleg movie DVD I bought months ago! One for the Swinger is already on YouTube (albeit in a worse and obviously shot-off-of-a-TV-screen quality) but one for the Colorpack doesn't seem to be on there yet. Maybe I'll get busy and rip it later.

While browsing through YouTube I found the following half-minute Polaroid TV commercial involving a lot of laughter: »link

I get up, and nothing gets me down.
You got it tough. I've seen the toughest around.
And I know, baby, just how you feel.
You've got to roll with the punches to get to what's real.

Oh can't you see me standing here,
I've got my back against the record machine
I ain't the worst that you've seen.
Oh can't you see what I mean?

Might as well jump. Jump!
Might as well jump.
Go ahead, jump. Jump!
Go ahead, jump.

A month and a half ago, some coworkers and yours truly got together to determine who could deliver the most impressive gol-screaming performance (perhaps a harbinger of Latin American dissapointments and European preeminence that would characterize the final stages of the tournament.)
