My SX-70 died tonight, it was the longest lasting one I have had. I now have 4 in the 'repair' pile. The sooner IP get going with their repair service the better.
Back to Ebay for another one now.

@arcydunkel : these crazy "bargains" appear now and them on ebay. I wonder what the hell happens with them...

woot woot for being the first in my hometown (college station) to post on polanoid :) Also, added some shots and put in an order for PX 600 Silver Shade First Flush film. Excited!
Been ebay searching for a nice SX-70 camera to purchase...I really shouldn't be spending the money, but it never hurts to look right? And if I happen to come across an amazing offer along the way....

just bought a boxed un-used SX-70 Land Camera from a thrift store for a £1-...loaded my film and it works...huzzah.
there are one of three cameras that I'm thinking of buying, the Holgaroid (uses Type 100 film) - £130 from the Impossible Project, a Macro5-SLR (uses Spectra film) or a Polaroid Blitz Wide Angle (uses Spectra Film) - £38 PPP) both from eBay. I want to change that format of prints that I am producing. I DO like the dimension of the 100 and the 600 polaroid I produce but the Spectra film is a little different and will add a change of direction.

hi guys! so I just bought some of the new PX100 from the Polaroid store in Manhattan, and used it this weekend. while it does seem a little more stable than the first flush, most of my shots are still turning out pretty red. :(
in other news, some expired 779 film from 1999 (purchased on ebay), looks beautiful! definitely my new favorite expired film.
