i think that everybody should have the right to announce their ebay auctions or other ventures here in the newsfeed.
i see no reason why not and i´m against regulating every little thing.

annnnnd..if adverts here should be banned..then every advertisment, or not? so goodbye to links to personal websites, artist galleries, t-shirt shops etc.

the newsfeed is not a sales place or an add for ebay, I think. Everyone here sales and buys stuff. What would it look like if everyone goes "i'm selling that wonderfull blah-blah-blah" ?

i'm living in vienna now.
but i don't have a scanner here, which sucks.
i guess i'm gonna have to find a cheap auction on ebay..

WM : I'm sure you can find a way so that there is no more fake profiles here. This is as boring as profile zero fake auctions on ebay.
Maybe there should be an obligation to have permanently at least, lets say 10 pics public, or even more, to be able to vote and leave comments ?

yes, drew,
a "for sale" place here would be nice and will save a lot of time browsing on ebay... but... but... maybe the people at unsaleable would not appreciate that much,beacuse, if I understand well, unsaleable is the trading place that makes Polanoid possible... so maybe unsaleable could be the right place for that kind of "second hand" buy and sale ?

PS : i'm looking for a "nightshot" camera and a SX70 photoalbum, so if anyone has got one....

has anyone tried selling their soul on ebay? How much did you get for it? thinking maybe I can buy Polaroid Corp. and reinstate SX 70 film into the global market stream and make a killing.

i have been quite lost with this story i must say and I really don't know anymore what to do about it!!
to hear now that he didn't send the goods from his ebay adds makes me even more angry and i start to be scared now after sending him my montage in big sizes...
he still doesn't want to tell me his name. he never signs any of his mails and last time he started calling me by my real last name and not my polanoid nick name!!!
you're are completely right with him always having the worst excuses you can invent like beeing sick( if you're sick that means you're home so maybe you can work on your computer right?), not knowing how "photoshop" is working ( maybe the guys should use an other program to edit a mag, no?)

i'm glad we can speak about it opennely now so i feel a bit less stress...

ABOUT POLAROIDAUTUMN - A SERIOUS WARNING

since I was not so much online around here this summer, I'm only now starting to see the whole extent of the polaroidautumn/blackmagickman story (mucho many gracias besos to uri, who gave me the hint today)

I did not kick blackmagickman from the site when I was asked to do this by some users, back in the days when the complaints about him not delivering polaroid film he sold on ebay, started.
blackmagickman always pretended to have paid all the money back and apologzied with lotsof excusatory stories about having been sick and technical problems and otha blahblah.
"in dubio pro reo" I thought.
but now that he created the polaroidautumn account and is trying to sell ads in his allegedly soon to be released magazine it is becoming a bit too fishy, even for the WM's big heart and his stubborn faith in the goodness in people.
especially now after seeing that polaroidautumn pretends NOT to be the same person as blackmagickman.
which is definitely not true.
one look into the logfiles clearly showed that polaroidautumn = deadman.walking = blackmagickman
so at least the guy is lying (unless these two otha guys are using blackmagickman's computer to log in to polanoid.net)

so maybe he really wants to create this polaroid magazine, maybe he is just so stupid to ask for (and accept) pictures for a printed magazine in screen resolution only.
nobody gets too much hurt if people send him their 72 dpi polaroid scans for his obviously (little)fingernail-sized magazine.
but please think twice before sending anything else than picture files to the guy - especially with things like money I would be very, very careful.
fact is that he is lying.

who is a guy who has the reputation of not delivering goods he sold on ebay.
