(btw, mikehoban: old topic. for me, it's about what one is pretending. pretending to actually have shot something -like, take the polaroid, snap, et voila- what by physics is not possible, makes me yawn. to play with it is something different. i don't see reyo as a pretender, i see him as somebody who invites us to a magic world of images. reflecting the way we see. it's a different kind of pretending. and it is a real polaroid. if you want to know more about this balancing acts, i'd advice to go through esther's work. first, before shouting in the forest)
